If so, how do you handle it? 4.If you could go back in time, what would you tell, warn or encourage the younger you about? ■■ KevinWare ■■ 1. I’m a Lakers guy. My favorite past player is Magic Johnson and favorite current player is Lebron James! ■■ 2. I would say that I am the greatest Uno and Monopoly player ever. My record is unmatched in both of those games. I can be super quiet, unless you’ve already known I was there you wouldn’t hear me half the time. ■■ 3. I think I get homesick every couple of weeks but I either cook something that reminds me of home, or call my son and family on Facetime. Facetime is essential on this side. ■■ 4. I wouldn’t change anything except directly going over- seas to play basketball instead of the college route. Outside of that I think all of the experiences that I have had, good and bad, have shaped and matured me to be the amazing person I am today. ■■ Richaud Pack ■■ 1. I don’t have a favorite NBA team. I know a lot of players so I just cheer for whatever team has my friends on them ■■ 2. Math. Numbers. Etc. I have an MBA. ■■ 3. I always feel homesick. It’s part of what comes with the job. I handle it by communicating with my family as much as I can. The hours make it hard but there’s always time for those who you love. Also, they visit whenever they get the chance so that makes it a lot better. ■■ 4. If I could go back in time, I’d just tell myself it’s all going to workout. I used to worry a lot or get down on how certain situations were going. I’m pretty care free now. I take things as God gives them to me. Never get too high, never get too low. I don’t let a win get to my head, and I don’t let a loss get to my heart. ■■ Trey Ziegler ■■ 1. My favorite NBA team is the Houston Rockets. James Har- den and Russell Westbrook are two guys I try to build my own game like. I enjoy watching both of them. I also root for the Detroit Pistons, my hometown team. ■■ 2. Gaming! I love playing video games in my free time. ■■ 3. Yes, of course I get homesick from time to time. It is very tough being away from family and friends for long periods of time. Missing holidays and birthdays, the best way to deal with it is staying in contact much as possible. I use FaceTime and call my loved ones daily. ■■ 4.
